Elise Benat was born and raised in the Mediterranean, South of France. She still remembers with admiration the aromas of maquis, myrtle and salt. As a teenager, Elise Benat traveled to exotic corners of the planet and this was to later impact on her future work and lead to the creation of the most delicate and surprising aromas.
    When she attended her first smell training course, while studying chemistry, it was a real eye-opener for her. From that moment, the determined young lady firmly decided on her future. Her dream came true when she joined the Firmenich team. Elise Benat likes reading. She also finds inspiration in art. She enjoys the emotions she get when she succeeds in translating words into aromas.

“RAINY CITY” is a fresh, peculiar, stylish and atmospheric unisex perfume. It is reminiscent of an asphalt road wet from recent rain. The bottle emanates the delightful and exhilarating scent of dust laid by heavy drops of rain thanks to a skilful combination of dry wood and tropical citrus notes. One would not call it bright or explosive, but the peacefulness and the inflow of pure natural energy it generates will be felt by everyone around its wearer.

The cold sparkling notes of lemon, greenish-spicy bergamot and the noble green tea are the first ones to stand out. The middle notes of the composition are somewhat smoky black tea, slightly sweet dry guaiac wood and creamy cedar wood. The base trio consists of dry wood, earthy vetiver and the animal notes of musk.
