Elise Benat was born and raised in the Mediterranean, South of France. She still remembers with admiration the aromas of maquis, myrtle and salt. As a teenager, Elise Benat traveled to exotic corners of the planet and this was to later impact on her future work and lead to the creation of the most delicate and surprising aromas.
    When she attended her first smell training course, while studying chemistry, it was a real eye-opener for her. From that moment, the determined young lady firmly decided on her future. Her dream came true when she joined the Firmenich team. Elise Benat likes reading. She also finds inspiration in art. She enjoys the emotions she get when she succeeds in translating words into aromas.

Warmth, peacefulness and that special feeling that tells you that everything is going well create the sensation of happiness. This is something you feel at an exotic seaside on a leisurely dreamy summer morning. It promises a sunny day filled with scent of flowering gardens and of tree bark still damp from the night, of the sea and of spicy coastal herbs. Inspired by this vision, the perfumer Harry Fremont created the “AZURE HAZE” perfume for M.INT. It belongs to the family of woody floral spicy fragrances.

Harry Fremont describes “AZURE HAZE” as an enveloping and warm perfume for men that can behave differently on your skin. It is a multi-layer perfume and what really strikes is not so much the individual notes - despite each of them being unique - but the overall harmony of the composition. “AZURE HAZE” is an aristocratic fragrance, warming, but with certain fresh sparkles, moderately harsh and spicily bitter. 

The top accord of “AZURE HAZE” is composed of the flirty scent of mandarin, a rather prominent but pleasant note of ripe guava and a peculiar note of coriander leaves. The top note is confident, spicy and hot. Among the middle notes you notice the sunny saffron, somewhat rounded out by the note of mate. The intensity of the saffron note, however, resonates curiously with the deep and sharp scent of thyme, making the perfume intriguing and original. The main base note is the sensual suede that complements the natural smell of the wearer’s skin and helps the perfume to settle down immediately. Against the background of suede, you may feel the cool oak moss and natural musk, which prolong the diffusion of the perfume’s accord.
